The dialer is stuck loading contacts, how can I fix this?

When starting up the dialer, your contacts will load and you can begin dialing. In the case that the dialer is "stuck" on "connecting" or "pulling contact data from your CRM..." thus not allowing you to move forward with calling, this may be due to a firewall issue. A firewall issue means that your computer's security guard (the firewall) is keeping you from using the dialer, which helps check incoming and outgoing traffic on your computer.




To troubleshoot, try changing your audio settings. Use "dial into WAVV" instead of "computer audio." Audio Source
