Callbacks

Overview

Callbacks are prerecorded voice messages that will be left to someone when you are using more than 1 dialing line at a time. If caller 2 answers the phone while you are connected to caller 1, caller 2 will hear your callback message. The Dialer will then automatically load caller 2 as your next call when you end with caller 1.

Guide

Adding a New Callback

The Callback feature is only needed when you have a multi-line dialer. These callback recordings are messages that you would like to use when someone answers a call you can't immediately answer. Use the Callbacks tab to manage these messages.

These callbacks can be created through the following methods:

Record Via Computer - If your computer has a microphone or a connected bluetooth headset, you can create a new callback from your computer. Select either the Record Callback button or the Record Via Computer option from the drop down menu. After granting your browser permission, you can click the microphone to begin recording.

Record Via Phone - Select Record Via Phone from the drop down menu next to the Record Callback button. You will then be prompted to have WAVV call you or call in yourself. For help setting up your phone number, click here.

Upload an Audio File - You can upload a prerecorded audio file (.mp3, .wav, and .m4a) as a callback. Select Upload an Audio File from the drop down menu. You will then be prompted to select a file from your computer.

Managing Callbacks

You have a few other options to help you manage these callback messages.

The Default column indicates the callback that will be automatically left when a call connects while you're on a call.
The Name column is a way for you to remember the contents of your voicemail. After you create a callback, you will be asked to give it a title. You can edit this later by selecting the pencil icon in the Actions column.
The Actions column provides several features for your callbacks:

Edit the nickname of the callback with the pencil icon
Play the callback with the media icon
Download the callback as an .mp3 file with the download icon
Delete the callback with the trash receptacle icon
