BETA: Double Dial

In today's communication landscape, reaching contacts via phone can be obstructed by call screening technologies and habits, leading to missed opportunities and inefficient engagement. Double dial is a new feature for the WAVV dialer that enables users to overcome these barriers.

How does it work?

To enable double dial, you must first activate the setting from the beta features section of WAVV dialer:

Once enabled, you'll see a pop-up informing you that your ring timeout setting is being set to "3". This is the shortest ring timeout duration and enables double dial to be more performant. A longer ring timeout will still allow the dialer to call each number twice but the longer the ring time out the more likely you are to have your call go to voicemail which will disrupt the double dial flow. After you've accepted the change to your ring timeout the dialer will now double dial each phone number that results in a no answer or a busy signal. Specifically, the dialer will only call a number a second time for each of the following call outcomes:

IF the user reaches the ring timeout THEN Double dial
IF the user ends the call(outcome=USER_HUNG_UP) before the line is connected THEN Double Dial
IF a BUSY signal THEN Double Dial
IF a NO_CALLBACK outcome THEN Double Dial
IF a NO_VOICEMAIL outcome THEN Double Dial
IF a UNKNOWN signal THEN Double Dial
IF call outcome is DISCONNECTED THEN Move to the next number
IF the user drops a VM THEN Move to the next number
IF the user ends the call (outcome=USER_HUNG_UP) after the line is connected THEN move to the next number

Benefits of using this feature:

Enhance Reachability: Maximize your reach and ensure your important messages don’t go unheard.
Improve Efficiency: The ability to promptly follow up means fewer missed connections and more productive outcomes.
User Empowerment: You’re in control of your communication, choosing when and how to break through call screening barriers.

We have built this feature so that it can be activated at the same time as nuisance protection. When both features are active, double dial will take precedence and be the only method in which a number will be called twice within the protected timespan set by nuisance protection, except for click-to-call which always operates outside of dialing protection settings.
