Getting Started with the WAVV Power Dialer Plus
Description
This article will guide you through how to start using your multi-line dialer.
Step 1
Navigate to the list you would like to call and click on the blue dial icon in the top center of Vortex.

Step 2
If you are calling a new list, click "Start new session." If you want to start where you left off on your last list, click "Resume."

Step 3
Next, select your dial settings. The system is set to automatically exclude DNC numbers, mobile numbers, numbers called today, and other real estate agent phone numbers. Next, click “Load Dialer” on the Dial settings page. The number of leads can differ from the total number of phone numbers.

When you have set your desired dial settings, click "Load Dialer."
*Note: If this is your first time loading the dialer, you will be prompted to register your business with WAVV's Trust Hub.

You will also have to accept the WAVV terms of service, and add your first phone number to the dialer.

Step 4
Once your phone number is added, determine how you want to connect to the dialer. We recommend using Computer Audio if you have a stable internet connection and a headset. Otherwise, use the "Call me at" or "Dial in to WAVV" options to connect your phone and use that as an audio source.

When the dialer connects, you should see the names and phone numbers of those who the dialer will begin to call.

Step 5
To start calling you will now click on "Dial" and the dialer will start dialing the phone numbers for your leads.
After clicking on dial, you should see the little phone next to the phone numbers moving, indicating that they are being rung.
The name of the homeowner and the property information of that property will appear when the corresponding person answers the phone. If no one has answered yet, their information will not appear on the screen.
Lead Dispositions
Once you have started calling your leads, you will want to make sure that you are dispositioning them. You will see this dropdown after you have called a number on a lead.
You will need to disposition the number you just called to move onto the next person.

You can also open the disposition dropdown by clicking on the gray rotary phone icon to the right of the phone number as seen below.
Changing Dialer Settings
To change your voicemails, phone numbers, and other dialer settings, you will want to press on the Settings gear cog at the top right of Vortex when the dialer is running.

Note: With the Power Dialer Plus, the dialing lines defaults to 3. If you want to just dial two or one, you can change that in the dialer settings.

Skipping or Deleting a Lead
You can skip past and/or delete a lead by clicking on the right arrow or the trash can in the bottom right-hand corner of your dialer screen, as seen below.
Call Transferring
You can now transfer a connected call to another number, as well as merge calls to create a conference call between three people. Once the person answers your call, you will be able to select the transfer icon.
The dialer will then have you select the name or number of the person you would like to transfer them to. If you have not transferred a call to that number before, you can enter any valid number into the search bar.

You can then select whether you would like to do a "Cold Transfer" or a "Warm Transfer". A cold transfer will automatically discount you from the contact and blind transfer them to the number you've selected. A warm transfer will place the contact on hold while you dial the number you've selected the transfer them to. Once the number you are transferring to has picked up you can then merge it into a three-way call by clicking the "merge" button...

or leave the conversation allowing your contact and the transfer number to continue their conversation.
